Water level in Kyrgyzstan will be low for 3-5 years

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan will have a low water level from 3 to 5 years, First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov said at a meeting of faction Respublika Ata-Jurt.
Past experience showed that a period of low water will last from 3 to 5 years and such cycles will repeat in the future, he said.
Forecast for water level in April at Toktogul reservoir was 13.6 billion m3, but now it's a bit more than the forecast, he said.
"But water level this year will be less than last year," he adds.
