Agreements for more than USD 2 bln to be signed within framework of SCO business forum – Kyrgyz PM

Bishkek, May 17, 2019. /Kabar/. Agreements worth over $ 2 billion will be signed as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization: Expanding the Cooperation Boundaries business forum, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev said in his keynote speech at the forum.
The head of government stated that this is not enough, given that representatives of major global companies and business circles of the SCO member countries are represented at the forum.
"Today’s meeting is the beginning of a great collaboration. Our Russian and Chinese investors have constructive proposals for improving cooperation within the framework of the SCO," he said.
Abylgaziev noted that there is need to improve financial mechanisms, including the creation of a development bank.
"Many partner organizations have unified banking systems," he added.
