Jeenbekov about Kyrgyz agro-products and assistance to vulnerable groups of population

Bishkek, May 17, 2019. /Kabar/. "One of the main directions of the country is the export of domestic ecologically clean agricultural products. We can withstand competition in the global market with our organic food products," Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said on May 17, during the meeting with residents of Balykchy town, held as part of his two-day working trip to Issyk-Kul Oblast.
The Kyrgyz leader reminded that there are agreements with neighboring countries, including China, on the supply of agricultural products of Kyrgyzstan to their markets.
"Currently, work is underway to produce and export organic products with the Made in Kyrgyzstan brand. The government has adopted a resolution and allocated funds in order to increase exports of agricultural products," Sooronbay Jeenbekov said.
The President also raised social issues. "Regional development is not only about building social facilities, but also helping the needy, orphans and widows" Sooronbay Jeenbekov stressed.
He noted that the state constantly pays attention to people in need of social support and amount of the allowance was three thousand soms last year, while the same year the payments were increased by one thousand soms.
"The state helps old people, orphans and widows as much as possible. There are good initiatives in this direction in some regions. I met with my compatriots in Russia, Turkey, and Germany, and all of them say: "If akims (head of the local executive body of state power), heads of village administration organize - we are ready to help," the President said.
Sooronbay Jeenbekov noted about the need, having united, to help the needy and orphans.
