Deputy Chairman of National Bank participates in CAREC forum

AKIPRESS.COM - Deputy Chairman of the National Bank Nurbek Jenish participated in the Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) forum in Astana, Kazakhstan May 15. The forum was organized by the Asian Development Bank, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), and the World Bank and discussed policies in infrastructure, fiscal and debt strategies, as well as the potential of capital markets to finance high-quality infrastructure expanding the potential for economic growth.
On May 16, Mr. Jenish participated in the round-table of ministers of finance and heads of central banks of the Caucasus and Central Asian countries, member states of the EAEU and Mongolia organized by the International Monetary Fund together with the National Bank of Kazakhstan. The event was chaired by IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde.
