Bishkek, May 19, 2019. / Kabar /. A delegation of Kyrgyzstan led by Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov took part in the 7th Meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Central Asia + Japan Dialogue in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
During the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of regional cooperation in tourism, trade investment and development, as well as regional security, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
Aidarbekov noted the interest of Kyrgyzstan in the further expansion of cooperation in the above-mentioned areas between the participating countries.
Following the meeting, the sides signed a Joint Statement and adopted an Action Plan for regional cooperation in priority areas of practical cooperation in the areas of tourism, transport, logistics and agriculture.
At the same time, the Chairmanship in the framework of the Dialogue moved to the Japanese side.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan S. Rabbani also took part in the work of the 7th Meeting as an honorary guest.
