Sport- shooting complex and new square opened in Bishkek

Bishkek, May 20, 2019. /Kabar/. The opening of a new sport- shooting complex was held on May 19 in Bishkek with the participation of Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev, Mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov, President of the National Olympic Committee Sharshenbek Abdykerimov and President of the Kyrgyzstan Shooting Sport Federation Salamat Ergeshov.
The Mayor of Bishkek noted in his speech that the appearance of a sport-shooting complex will serve as an impetus to the development of sports shooting in the capital and will educate athletes who will defend with dignity the honor of our country and the city not only in domestic but also abroad competitions.
The press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s office reported that the first visitors of the complex took part in the excursion around the complex and witnessed the first trainings of sportsmen.
The total area of the complex is 2 thousand square meters.
A new square called Ayu also opened in Bishkek.
The total area of the square is 15 thousand square meters.
