Bishkek, May 20, 2019. / Kabar /. Leading international experts in the field of public administration, representatives of state bodies of the countries of the region, as well as international organizations and universities gathered at the panel session of the Astana Civil Service Hub "Reward and recognition: how to motivate public servants in the 21st century".
The session was held within the framework of the Astana Economic Forum, in which the Nobel Prize laureates, current and former heads of state, politicians, economists, scientists and businessmen took part, the press service of the State Personnel Service of Kyrgyzstan reported.
Representatives of authorized bodies and experts from fifteen countries shared their experience and specific examples from the sphere of reforming payment systems and evaluating the effectiveness of civil servants.
During the session, Acting Director of the State Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakytbek Sagynbayev made a presentation on the topic "Assessment of the activity of state administrative employees and municipal employees of the Kyrgyz Republic". In his speech, the Kyrgyz official noted that evaluation of the activity is an important tool for material and non-material incentives for civil servants. He also stressed that work is continuing in Kyrgyzstan to improve the assessment of the activities of state and municipal servants.
Currently, 41 countries, including OECD, CIS countries, the Caucasus, Central Asia and ACEAH, are participating in the Astana Hub of Public Service. The Kyrgyz Republic is one of the founders of the Astana Hub.
