Bishkek, May 23, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Altynay Omurbekova took part in the opening ceremony of Unified window of the Department of Medicinal Provision and Medical Equipment under the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Government reported.
"The opening of the Unified window is important as part of the implementation of an e-health program, which is part of the country's digital transformation. The main idea of the e-health program is to unite all health care organizations in a single ring, in order to provide quality and timely medical services to our citizens, including the creation of conditions to provide the population with safe, effective and affordable medicines," she said.
"The implementation of the electronic database will increase the transparency of the circulation of medicines and medical devices, which will improve the control of the national market for medicines and medical devices at all stages of circulation. All work is being carried out to launch anti-corruption mechanisms in the country, to improve the quality of medical services, to stop smuggling of medicines, to ban overpricing of imported medicines, and to ensure physical and economic accessibility to them," Omurbekova said.
The deputy prime minister expressed hope that the introduction of the Unified window system would make the mechanisms of obtaining permits for entrepreneurs transparent, accessible and clear.
The introduction of the Unified window system is an important tool for achieving transparency in the activities of the regulatory body (Department) and contributes to the prevention of corrupt practices in the regulation of the circulation of medicines and medical devices.
