Kyrgyz Prosecutor General’s Office, OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek sign cooperation plan

Bishkek, May 24, 2019. /Kabar/. Otkurbek Dzhamshitov, the Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan met with Ambassador, Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek Pierre von Arx, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting the sides signed cooperation plan between the Prosecutor General’s Office of Kyrgyzstan and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Programme Office in Bishkek in various areas of prosecutorial activity till the end of 2019.
Dzhamshitov noted positive trends in cooperation between the principal oversight body and the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek, aimed at increasing the effectiveness of work in the implementation of international obligations of the Kyrgyz Republic to combat corruption, the observance of constitutional rights and freedoms of human and citizen, as well as to improve the activities of the prosecution bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic on the formation of legal statistics and records within the framework of the Unified System of Violations system(USV).
As a result of the meeting, the sides reached an agreement that the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek will provide technical support for the establishment of a call-centre in the Kyrgyz General Prosecutor's Office within the framework of USV automated information system as well as for the development and implementation the Electronic Document Management Systems software.
