Newly arrived U.S. Ambassador presents copies of credentials to Uzbek Foreign Minister

AKIPRESS.COM - Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov today met newly arrived U.S. Ambassador Daniel Rosenblum, the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said. The Ambassador presented copies of credentials to the Foreign Minister, who wished him successful work.
Prospects of bilateral cooperation in light of the agreements reached during the official visit of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States in May 2018 were in focus of discussions.
The sides reaffirmed commitment to further development of bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other areas.
Regional and international issues were considered among other topics.
