Nursultan Nazarbayev conferred title of Honorary Chairman of SEEC

Nur-Sultan, May 29, 2019. /Kabar/. A jubilee meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC) took place at the Independence Palace in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that thanks to the political foresight and strategic vision of the first president of Kazakhstan, the idea of Eurasian integration has become a reality which has been visibly reformatted into an economic and even geopolitical landscape of the continents.
"Taking into account his historical contribution to the formation of the EAEU, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin proposed to award Nursultan Nazarbayev the title of Honorary Chairman of the SEEC. On behalf of the Republic of Kazakhstan, I express my gratitude to the President of Russia for his initiative and to all partners for their unanimous support," Tokayev said.
Kazakh President also stressed that the past year under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation has become very rich and effective.
