President of Kyrgyzstan suggests introduction of triple customs control on EAEU borders

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan has lately drawn condemnation for allegedly hiding the customs payments, President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov said at the summit of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Nur-Sultan.
"We're interested in transparent and objective customs control on the external borders of the Union. Therefore, I suggest introduction of triple customs control with participation of representatives of interested parties among the EAEU and EEC," Jeenbekov said.
Results and conclusions of the joint control should be open for public, such procedures could lift allegations of irregularities of one country against another, he said.
