Jeenbekov names priority areas of EAEU work

Nur-Sultan, May 29, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov named the most priority areas of work of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) at the extended meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council in Nur-Sultan.
He said that priority areas of Organization’s work are implementation of the digital agenda and the formation of a unified market of human resources.
"We need to continue to build common digital processes for business and the public sector. We welcome the joint efforts of the state and business to implement the Union's digital agenda till 2025. As part of this vector of development, I have declared this year in Kyrgyzstan as the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the Country," he said.
The President noted that the second direction of the Union is the formation of a unified labor market.
"I am convinced that the signing of the Pensions Provision Agreement will be a major step towards achieving equality for the Union's workers. I think there is need to continue the work on creating favorable conditions for the workers by improving the legal framework of the Union," Jeenbekov said.
At the end the President noted that perspective directions for further deepening of integration and expansion of cooperation with third sides were discussed. He also said that there is need to consolidate common efforts in order to achieve the set goals of creating a strong, reliable and prosperous Union.
