CIS Interior Ministers gather in Tashkent

AKIPRESS.COM - The meeting of the CIS Interior Ministers is held in Tashkent from May 30 through June 1. The Interior Ministers will discuss 7 issues regarding implementation of the interstate programs on fight against crime and other relevant areas of interdepartmental cooperation, the CIS Executive Committee said.
These issues include comprehensive and joint operative and preventive activities on fight against crime, creation of practical mechanisms of effective interstate cooperation.
The CIS Interior Ministers are expected to adopt the concept of cooperation until 2030. The document outlines current criminal challenges and threats, defines principles, goals, tasks, main areas and forms of cooperation, mechanisms of financing, supply of resources, modalities of realization of the concept.
