Bishkek, May 30, 2019 /Kabar/. A number of new flights are planned to be open in 2019 in order to develop the tourism sector, Arzymat Matmuratov, the Head of Civil Aviation Department told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He said that QazaqAir Airlines will fly on the Almaty-Osh-Almaty route from June 7, 2019 with a frequency of two times a week, on Fridays and Sundays.
"In addition, the airline opened flights to Almaty-Bishkek-Almaty with a frequency of two times a week, on Fridays and Sundays from Apr. 5, 2019. At the same time, AirArabia will fly on the Sharjah-Bishkek-Sharjah route four times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays starting July 2, 2019. Uzbek Airlines OJSC will launch flights on the Tashkent-Tamchy Tashkent route from June 27, 2019 to September. The flights will be operated on a charter basis once a week, on Sunday," Matmuratov said.
According to his data, for the summer season Atlas Global Airlines will launch Antalya-Bishkek-Antalya route with a frequency of twice a week on Fridays and Sundays from June 10, 2019.
"Also Sibir Airlines will begin flights to Novosibirsk-Tamchy-Novosibirsk with a frequency of once a week on Sundays from June 22, 2019 to September. Starting from June 28, 2019, TezJet resumes flights on the Osh-Tamchy-Osh route with a frequency of four times a week. Turkish Airlines will launch a flight on the Antalya-Bishkek-Antalya route once a week, on Saturdays since June 2019," Matmuratov added.
