Speaker Dzhumabekov meets with heads of delegations of TURKPA member states

Bishkek, May 30, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Parliament Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov met with the heads of delegations of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA), who arrived to participate in the Commission on Environment and Natural Resources session.
Welcoming the guests, the speaker noted the importance and fruitfulness of the TURKPA Commission’s session which is being held in Bishkek. He said about his awareness of all the considered issues at the session of the TURKPA Commission and the decisions made following the results of their discussion, the press service of the Parliament reported.
"We are facing a number of tasks to implement the plans within the framework of TURKPA, in particular, to raise the relations between the Turkic-speaking states to a qualitatively new level in various areas," he said.
Members of the TURKPA Commission on Environment and Natural Resources thanked the Kyrgyz side for holding the meetings of the TURKPA Commissions in Bishkek at the highest level.
"During the sessions a number of issues were discussed and a constructive and substantive exchange of views on a number of important issues took place," the members of the TURKPA Commission said.
The Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-speaking Countries (TURKPA) is a parliamentary association of Turkic-speaking countries, the purpose of which is to form the mechanism of inter-parliamentary relations between Turkic-speaking countries, the rapprochement of political views, the exchange of information, the promotion of Turkic culture, the expansion of economic relations, the implementation of joint projects, finding solutions to the problems of the Turkic world.
