Average salary in Kyrgyzstan for 1st quarter makes $225

Bishkek, May 31, 2019. /Kabar/. The average monthly nominal wage per employee (excluding small enterprises) in January-March made15,716 soms in Kyrgyzstan.
This number increased by 4.1% compared to the relevant period of 2018, the press service of the National Statistics Committee reported.
The average monthly salary of one employee amounted to USD 225.2 in January-March 2019 based on the official exchange rate set by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Growth rates of average monthly salary were increased at enterprises and organizations of all regions of the country.
A significant increase in the growth rate of average monthly wages was observed in the employees of enterprises and organizations of Talas (8.6 %) and Jalal-Abad (4.4 %) Oblasts, as well as in Osh city (5.2 %).
The highest wages were registered in Bishkek (20,403 soms), Naryn (15,346 soms), Chui (14,476 soms) and Jalal-Abad (14,339 soms) Oblasts.
