Ex-special prosecutor gave testimony against Aida Salyanova: MP

AKIPRESS.COM - Testimony against ex-Prosecutor General Aida Salyanova was given by ex-special prosecutor Mairambek Akmataliyev who plea-bargained with the investigators, MP Almambet Shykmamatov told reporters early on June 4.
"Former special prosecutor has been held in the National Security Committee for 2 days and plea-bargained with the investigators. He gave testimony against her so that she could be arrested. His and Salyanova's testimony did not match. The Pervomay district court is to choose a measure of restrain against her, attorneys will highlight the presence of a small child," he said.
Attorney Rabiga Sidikova refused to comment.
Confrontation of witnesses Aida Salyanova and ex-Deputy Prosecutor General Lyudmila Usmanova took place on June 3, Salyanova's sister said.
