Ex-head of judicial reform department of President’s Office taken into custody for 1 month

AKIPRESS.COM - Former head of the judicial reform department of the President's Office Manas Arabayev was taken into custody for a month, Pervomay District Court of Bishkek ruled.
He will be kept in the remand prison of the National Security Committee.
Arabayev was detained on June 2 on suspicion of corruption as part of the operation to suppress persons involved in takeover of business objects of foreign investors abusing their official powers.
Arabayev, 41, was appointed head of the judicial reform department of the President's Office on 5 February 2015 by then-president Almazbek Atambayev. On 9 February 2018, he was re-appointed to the post by president Sooronbai Jeenbekov. On 15 May 2018, Jeenbekov sacked him.
