Trucks traffic on public roads to be temporarily restricted in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 5, 2019. /Kabar/. The traffic of trucks on public roads in Kyrgyzstan temporarily restricted during the 2019 summer period, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
"In order to ensure the safety on public roads in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to increase their useful life, guided by the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Roads", the Kyrgyz Ministries of Transport and Roads and Internal Affairs ordered a joint issue "On Temporary Restriction of Freight Vehicles Traffic on Public Roads in the Kyrgyz Republic" for the period June 1, 2019 - Sept. 1, 2019, from 09:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., when the daily air temperature reaches 28 degrees Celsius and above," the report said.
According to the order, the movement of heavy and large vehicles with a maximum total weight of 25 tons and axle loads of more than 7 tons is prohibited.
The Agency for Road, Water Transport and Weight and Dimension Control under the Kyrgyz Ministry of Transport and Roads monitors the compliance of temporary restrictions on the vehicles traffic on Kyrgyz public roads by drivers, and the Main Department for Road Traffic Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs ofKyrgyzstan provides comprehensive assistance within its competence.
The deputy minister of transport and roads and the head of the Main department for road traffic safety of theKyrgyz Ministry of Internal Affairs shall be responsible for the control over the implementation of this order.
