Drones banned in Nur-Sultan and Almaty during presidential election

AKIPRESS.COM - Authorities in Kazakhstan imposed a temporary drone ban over the cities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty on June 9, the snap presidential election day, the civil aviation committee said.
The ruling is aimed at ensuring security during the period of elections.
The drone ban will not impact on the activities of Nur-Sultan and Almaty airports and performance of flights by schedule, the committee assures.
Unauthorized operation, including the launch of drones in the territories of the cities will be fined.
