AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-Kazakh president Nursultan Nazarbayev was presented a badge and ID of honorary Senator of Kazakhstan by his daughter, Senate Speaker Dariga Nazarbayeva.
Ms Nazarbayeva said her father was entitled honorary Senator in recognition of his role in development of the country.
During the plenary session on May 30, the Senate of Kazakhstan made a decision to confer the status of the honorary Senator upon Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Senators unanimously made the decision.
