Delegation from Uzbekistan’s Supreme Assembly arrives in Osh

Osh, June 6, 2019 /Kabar/. A delegation of representatives of the Supreme Assembly and the leadership of Andijan Region of Uzbekistan arrived in Osh city.
The heads of the Osh Oblast state administration, Kyrgyz ambassador to Uzbekistan and representatives of the Border Service solemnly welcomed the delegation from Uzbekistan at Dostuk checkpoint.
A meeting of delegation from Uzbekistan and its Kyrgyz colleagues took place in the assembly hall of the Osh municipal parliament, where they discussed a number of important topics on improvement of bilateral relations.
The meeting will be held until the evening as part of a specially prepared program.
The Supreme Assembly is the parliament of Uzbekistan. It succeeded the Supreme Soviet in 1995, and was unicameral until a reform implemented in January 2005 created a second chamber.
