Government seeks to increase share of tourism in GDP from 5% to 7-7%

AKIPRESS.COM - Government seeks to increase share of tourism in GDP from 5% to 7-7%, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev said during the meeting to discuss the concept of development of Kyrgyz Tourism SE on June 7.
He noted that the tourism in developed nation contribute up to 13% to the GDP.
Director of the Kyrgyz Tourism Daniyar Kazakov told about the main activities of the SE.
PM said tourism object should be created in every village, the government must have a clear vision how to mobilize all the state resources to give a powerful momentum for the development of tourism.
PM ordered the government to come up with suggestions regarding the SE's activities and its financial issues within a month.
