Bishkek mayor meets with Russian ambassador to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 8, 2019 /Kabar/. Mayor of Bishkek Aziz Surakmatov met with Ambassador of Russia to Kyrgyzstan Nikolay Udovichenko, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor’s Office reported.
During the visit, Mayor Surakmatov noted the municipality's active cooperation with such cities and regions of Russia as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Ufa within the framework of the signed agreements, and also congratulated Ambassador Udovichenko on the appointment and wished him success.
The sides discussed cooperation in trade and economic, cultural and humanitarian sphere. Nikolay Udovichenko noted the successful projects of the Russian side in Bishkek.
Director of Russian Centre for Science and Culture of Bishkek Viktor Nefedov said that the Bishkek national football team won gold at the V World Games of Young Compatriots, which were held in Khanty-Mansiysk (Russia) on May 31-June 6 this year.
Russian Federation trade representative in the Kyrgyz Republic Valery Latypov, Director of the Russian Centrer of Science and Culture of Bishkek Viktor Nefedov, Deputy Mayors of Bishkek Tatyana Kuznetsova, Ulanbek Azygaliyev and Head of Oktyabr district local government Maxim Sitnikov also took part in the meeting with the mayor of the capital.
