Ambassador of Uzbekistan tourism brand in UK appointed

She has been working with Uzbekistan for more than 10 years. With her support, Uzbekistan has won a number of prestigious awards of specialized British media in tourism.
As the Tourism Brand Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Sophie Ibbotson said she will focus on such areas as mountain tourism, ecotourism, bird tourism, cultural, gastronomic, sport, event and agritourism.
This year Sophie Ibbotson plans to hold press tours to Navoi and Kashkadarya regions, which have enormous opportunities, she says. The number of incoming foreign tourists can be increased significantly with proper marketing approaches used, according to Sophie Ibbotson.
