Kyrgyz travel companies take part in International Tourism Industry Fair in Korea

Bishkek, June 10, 2019. /Kabar/. Seoul International Tourism Industry Fair (SITIF-2019) was held on June 6-9 in Seoul, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Korea reported.
Kyrgyz travel companies Ak-Sai Travel, Travel Land and Hospitality Kyrgyzstan Tourism Association participated for the first time with the active assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea and the Department of Tourism under the Kyrgyz Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism.
Visitors of the exhibition could get acquainted with special offers of Kyrgyz companies. The Kyrgyz side hold presentations and bilateral negotiations with Korean and foreign tour operators and presented tourism opportunities of Kyrgyzstan and the optimal tourist routes in the Kyrgyz Republic. During the exhibition there was a great interest in the tourism potential of our country.
Besides, Kyrgyz Embassy in Korea installed a Kyrgyz yurt, where objects of folk applied art of our country, national clothes were presented, videos about tourist opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic were shown, and guests were invited to taste Kyrgyz sweets.
SITIF is one of the largest international tourism exhibitions in Korea and has a 34-year history. The main direction of SITIF is the promotion of tourism through various fairs and festivals on tourism and culture on an annual basis, which brings together tour operators and travel agencies from around the world.
