UNICEF Representative Yukie Mokuo completes her mission to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 11, 2019. /Kabar/. Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Kosmosbek Cholplonbayev held a meeting with UNICEF Representative in Kyrgyzstan Yukie Mokuo on occasion of the end of her mission in country.
The minister noted fruitful cooperation with UNICEF in supporting the health sector aimed at protecting maternal and child health, the press service of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry reported.
"On behalf of the Ministry of Health and on my own behalf, I express my gratitude to you and UNICEF for the great work in maternal and child health care. UNICEF supports the capacity building of medical professionals and improvement of infrastructure of health care organizations. A lot of work is being done to introduce proper nutrition among children, etc. All these years, when you were the head of the UNICEF office in Kyrgyzstan, you were promoting the issues of children's health protection and helping the health sector. I wish you success and thank you for your fruitful cooperation," Cholponbayev said.
The UNICEF representative in Kyrgyzstan expressed gratitude for the meeting, noting that it was a great pleasure for her to fulfill her mission in the country together with the Ministry of Health.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Cholponbayev presented a letter of appreciation to Yukie Mokuo for her personal contribution to strengthening the fair system of maternal, newborn and child health care in Kyrgyzstan, for the successful building of partnerships and fruitful cooperation, for high professionalism and expert opinion, for sincere and sensitive attitude, responsibility, caring attitude and support.
