Activist Edil Baisalov named new Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to UK

AKIPRESS.COM - Edil Baisalov is appointed a new Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the UK by President.
He replaced Gulnara Isakova.
41-year-old Baisalov has previously served as Chief of Staff to the head of the interim government Roza Otunbayeva, following the uprising on April 7, 2010. He is a Kyrgyz political activist, former Deputy Minister of Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic (2012-2013).
He was the leader of the Aikol El party and Coalition "For Democracy and Civil Society".
In 1995-2000, he studied at the American University in Kyrgyzstan (AUCA).
