Kyrgyzstan should become within ten years country producing only eco-products–Parliament

Bishkek, June 12, 2019. /Kabar/. The members of Parliament adopted at the session a draft resolution of the Jogorku Kenesh( Kyrgyz Parliament) "On measures for the development of organic agricultural production in the Kyrgyz Republic", initiated by Deputy Makhabat Mavlyanova.
Mavlyanova noted that the draft resolution includes within ten years to embark on the production of organic plant and animal products in the entire territory of the Kyrgyz Republic without using agrochemicals, pesticide, GMOs, growth regulators, except for biological products for plant protection and organic fertilizers and as well as to protect the health of citizens and the environment, provide the population with ecologically clean and safe products, further minimize pollution of soil, plant and animal products, develop organic agricultural production, enhance the image of the country as a producer of organic (environmental) products, attract investments and consumers of organic products.
For which the Government is entrusted to take a number of measures to achieve this objective.
