24 documents worth USD 7.7 bln signed at Kyrgyz-Chinese Business Forum

Bishkek, June 13, 2019. / Kabar /. 24 documents worth USD 7.7 billion were signed as part of the Chinese-Kyrgyz Business Forum in Bishkek, Director of the Investments Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic Shumkarbek Adylbek uulu told.
He said that one of the large-scale projects is the metallurgical industry, as well as the construction of two agro-industrial parks in the amount of USD 2 billion and USD 150 million, respectively.
Minister of Agriculture, Food Industry and Land Reclamation of Kyrgyzstan Erkinbek Choduev told what documents were signed at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Business Forum in the agricultural sphere.
He said that 4 documents were signed at the forum in agriculture sphere.
The first agreement is on the construction of a plant for the production of organic fertilizers in Nookat region of Osh oblast. The cost of this project will be USD 260 million. The second is the Memorandum on the digitization of agriculture, which costs about USD 50 million.
"The next document concerns the creation of a logistics center. Its cost is also estimated at around USD 40 million. A dairy factory for USD 60 million will be built in Suzak region. The cost of all these projects will be about USD 400 million. In the future, all these projects will have a significant impact on the development of the country's economy," he said.
The minister noted that some projects have already begun to be implemented.
