Kyrgyz, Kazakh Presidents discuss prospects for further development of bilateral relations

Bishkek, June 13, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov met with his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, who has arrived for participation in the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
The press service of the Kyrgyz President reported that the Presidents discussed the current state and prospects of further development of bilateral relations, including within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, Collective Security Treaty Organization and the SCO.
The Kyrgyz leader congratulated Tokayev on his victory in the presidential election and wished him further success in his activities.
Jeenbekov once again invited the President of Kazakhstan to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
Tokayev stressed that he is pleased to pay his first foreign visit to Kyrgyzstan as the newly elected President. He noted that he will make every effort to deepen and develop cooperation with brotherly Kyrgyzstan.
