Russian President Putin arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, June 13, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has arrived in Kyrgyzstan to participate in the meeting of the Council of the Heads of State (CHS) of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov met Putin at the Manas International Airport, where a bilateral meeting of the two Presidents took place, the press service of the Kyrgyz President reported.
Jeenbekov noted that he is pleased to welcome Putin in Kyrgyzstan to attend the SCO CHS meeting.
The Kyrgyz leader congratulated Putin on the Russia Day and stressed with satisfaction that each meeting of the two leaders contributes to the deepening and expansion of mutually beneficial partnership between the countries.
The Russian President noted that the meeting of the SCO CHS in Bishkek is an important event on the international agenda
Putin expressed confidence that the SCO CHS meeting will be a success under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan.
