Presidents of Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan confirm interest in continuing political dialogue on all levels

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov met with President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani, who arrived in Bishkek for the SCO summit on June 13.
Jeenbekov and Ghani discussed deepening of ties between Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan, as well as cooperation in implementation of the energy project CASA-1000.
Jeenbekov said he supports Ghani's efforts to strengthen security in his country. In this regard, Kyrgyz side successfully organized a meeting of the working group SCO-Afghanistan on April 19 in Bishkek, which approved the road map of further actions.
The two presidents expressed reciprocal interest in continuing political dialogue on all levels.
