Kyrgyzstan, India sign MoU on creation of education hub

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyzstan and India have signed a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science and India's Infinity Group on establishment of the Central Asian education hub. The Minister of Education has signed the memo on behalf of Kyrgyzstan. Infinity Group Chairman Ravindra Chamaria has signed the document on behalf of the Indian side.
"This memorandum of understanding on the education hun project implementation. It will occupy 1,000 ha and will be used by around 60,000 students. The location of the hub is yet to be identified. This will be a big campus on the territory of Kyrgyzstan. We ask the government of Kyrgyzstan to provide around 1,000 ha for construction," Infinity Group Chairman Adilet Mamytov said.
