Bishkek, June 17, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev on June 13 met with Abdullah Eren, the President of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey.
Omuraliyev expressed gratitude for the assistance to Kyrgyz students studying in Turkey under the scholarship program of the Presidency.
During the meeting, the ambassador expressed his request for assistance in solving the issue of providing the teachers of Kyrgyz language and literature, folk crafts and music with salaries, which will be sent from the Kyrgyz Republic to Uluu Pamir village in Erjish district of Van Province, as well as increasing the number of Kyrgyz students in Turkey.
Omuraliev also requested assistance in the activities of the Ata Jurt ethnic complex, founded by ethnic Kyrgyz Kenan Aytach and located on the shore of Van Lake near Erjish town.
The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YNB) established on Apr. 6, 2010, has the task to coordinate the activities for Turks, living abroad, related ( sister) communities and Turkish Scholarship Program, and develop the services and activities carried out in these fields.
