Training for managers of Kyrgyz sewing companies held in Bishkek

Bishkek, June 17, 2019. /Kabar/. The "Vision of social responsibility on the basis of ISO 26000 standard" training for heads of Kyrgyz sewing enterprises was held in Bishkek on June 16.
The seminar was held under the auspices of the International Trade Centre (ITC) within the framework of the program Trade Promotion in the Kyrgyz Republic, financially supported by the Government of Switzerland.
"Business depends on the employees working at the enterprise, in this matter there is importance to comply with accepted standards, create a working environment, accessibility to raw materials, as well as the psychological atmosphere among the employees, as well as to ensure a stable wage, career development opportunities. The above requirements are one of the main factors for improving and activating the work of enterprises," Gulnara Zhusupzhanova, the Chairwoman of the governance of the For Quality public association said.
ISO 26000 International Standard provides guidance on the principles in basis of social responsibility, key themes and issues related to social responsibility and how to integrate socially responsible behaviour into organizational policies, systems, practices and processes.
The International Trade Centre (ITC) is a joint agency of the World Trade Organization and the United Nations. ITC assists small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries and countries with economies in transition in improving their competitiveness in global markets, contributing to sustainable economic development within the framework of the Aid for Trade agenda and the UN sustainable development goals.
