Money transfers from Russia to Uzbekistan reach $818 million in Q1

AKIPRESS.COM - Money transfers from Russia to Uzbekistan reached $818 million in the first quarter of 2019, according to the Russian Central Bank.
$340 million were transferred by Russian citizens, $478 million by Uzbek and other nationals.
Average sum of one transfer was $349. Money transfers from Uzbekistan to Russia amounted to $75 million.
Uzbekistan is the second biggest receiver of money transfers from Russia, according to the regulator. Switzerland is ranked first with more than $1.3 billion.
Money transfers to Tajikistan amounted to $462 million, Kyrgyzstan - $453 million, Kazakhstan - $137 million.
