Bishkek, June 18, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov received Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov, the President’s press service reported.
The sides summed up the results of international events, such as the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the state visit of President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping, the official visits of Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi which were held in Bishkek on June 12-14.
Aidarbekov presented relevant information on all past events.
The President noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, together with all relevant public authorities, provided a proper level of content and protocol and organizational issues of the Summit and visits, which yielded concrete results.
"Now the main task is to control the implementation of the results achieved. They should be implemented and bring benefit to the state and the people. The international events that have taken place are intended to strengthen the country's authority and work for the country’s development prospect," Jeenbekov stressed.
The President also thanked the residents of Bishkek for their support during these major international events.
Jeenbekov instructed tMinister Aidarbekov together with the President' Office of the Kyrgyz Republic to closely control the further implementation of the agreements reached during the SCO Summit, the state visit of Chinese President, the official visits of Mongolian and Indian leaders to Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the (SCO) was held on June 14 in Bishkek with the participation of eight member states and four observer states.
Chinese Leader Xi Jinping paid state visit to Kyrgyzstan on June 13.
Mongolian President Khaltmaagiin Battulga and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit on June 12 and 14, respectively.
