Parliament’s committee approves ratification of agreements with Turkey, Turkmenistan

Bishkek, June 18, 2019. /Kabar/.The Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh approved the ratification of agreements with Turkey and Turkmenistan.
The Parliament’s press service reported that two agreements were considered :
- Draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey on cooperation in prevention and elimination of emergency situations, signed on Sep. 1, 2018 in Bishkek";
- Draft Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On ratification of the Agreement between the Governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan on cooperation prevention and elimination of emergency situations, signed on Aug. 23, 2018 in Ashgabat";
Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic Davletbek Akimbekov said that the presented Agreements will allow to jointly solve the issues of emergency situations consequences elimination.
The Committee also approved the draft Law "On ratification of the Agreement between the governments of the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkmenistan on the elimination of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion with respect to income taxes signed on Aug. 23, 2018 in Ashgabat," submitted by Deputy Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan Dastan Kadyrov.
