Tashkent, June 18, 2019. /Kabar/. Employees of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health Kerezgul Beishebayeva and Olga Kindyakova presented the experience of Kyrgyzstan in the development of national health information systems (HIS) during the third meeting of CARINFONET (Information Network of Central Asian Republics) in Tashkent, correspondent of Kabar News Agency reported from the venue.
Kerezgul Beishebayeva, Chief Specialist of the Strategic Planning and Program Implementation Department of the Kyrgyz Health Ministry, said that in the presentation special attention is paid to the review of progress in HIS in Kyrgyzstan and the assessment of the work plan, taking into account the implementation of those activities that were identified as priorities at the last meeting, as well as the identification of new priority actions for the coming years.
"The results of this meeting will allow for enhanced partnerships at the national and regional levels. The World Health Organization stresses the need to increase the benefits of collaboration between the entire government and society," Beishebayeva said.
CARINFONET works in 7 key areas: collection and analysis of health information; improvement of access to and dissemination of health information; strengthening of institutional and human resources capacity; strengthening of health information systems; support in the development of health information strategies; improvement of communication and advocacy; and partnership development at the national and regional levels.
