Bishkek, June 19, 2019. /Kabar/. The total revenue of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan has amounted to KGS 51 billion 13.8 million in 2018, Meder Irsaliyev, the Fund’s Chairman told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He noted that revenues increased by 2 billion 101.8 million soms, or 4.3% compared to 2017.
"Insurance premiums amounted to KGS 30 billion. 642.1 million, with a 6.6% growth compared to 2017. Mandatory allocations from the national budget received in 2018 in the amount of 2 billion 21.7 million soms," he said.
The Social Fund’s expenses amounted to KGS 50 billion in 2018, which is more 3 billion 847 million more compared to 2017.
Chairman Irsaliyev added that as of Jan.1, 2019, the number of pension recipients amounted to 651.2 thousand people.
"Compared to 2017, the number of pensioners has increased by 17.3 thousand people," he said.
The chairman added the Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund in 2018 was financed in the amount of KGS 2 billion 328.5 million, and the Workers' Health Improvement Fund in the amount of 288.8 million.
