General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan briefs on violations during presidential vote

AKIPRESS.COM - The General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan said it has launched 36 administrative cases during the snap presidential election.
36 cases of them were launched and sent to the courts. Some of the cases were closed, while some are under courts consideration, the General Prosecutor's Office reported.
"There were no violations that could influence the results of the election of the President," it said.
The prosecution authorities are carrying out inspection of video materials about ballot stuffing and other violations that were published on social media.
Nine voters were fined for violation of requirements of the equal election right. They were voting for their family members, the statement says.
