Kyrgyzstan's GDP grew by 5.6% in 5 months

AKIPRESS.COM - Chairman of the National Statistics Committee Akylbek Sultanov briefed President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbai Jeenbekov on the social and economic development of the nation for January-May 2019 period on June 20.
GDP in the first 5 months of 2019 amounted to 184 billion soms growing by 5.6%.
GDP growth was achieved thanks to the growth in industrial, agricultural, construction and service sectors, Sultanov said.
Investment in fixed assets grew by 4.9% in 5 months.
