Inflation, economic collapse, income fall — Nazarbayev reminds Kazakhstan 30 years ago

AKIPRESS.COM - Former President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev while laying a time capsule in Almaty told the youth what Kazakhstan faced 30 years ago, Tengrinews.kz reports.
"Today I want to remind you how we started building our country. I'd like to remind you what Kazakhstan faced 30 years ago. First, it was a falling economy, absence of coordination of actions, which led to a huge collapse," he said during the ceremony.
Inflation, economic collapse, deficit, decline of population's income, growth of mass unemployment happened in the country that period, according to Nazarbayev.
"Now it seems that nothing of these happened, but it's fact," he said.
The time capsule was laid in front of the building of the Kazakh-British Technical University.
