Kyrgyz government creates National Management Company JSC

AKIPRESS.COM - Kyrgyz government creates the National Management Company JSC, according to the statement of PM Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev made during the government meeting on June 21 to discuss results of activities of state enterprises and joint stock companies with state shares for 2018 and 5 months of the current year.
The company will allow to introduce the system of state property management based on the model of holdings and allow to hire top managers, according to the PM.
PM ordered the government to come up with the list of state property to be transferred to the trust management with the development of appropriate mechanisms in 1 month.
Introduction of outsourcing principle will create possibilities for efficient use of private sector resources in the interest of the economy, the statement said.
"It does not mean that the state objects will be privatized. The problem with shortage of professionals, lack of financing, low level of corporate management and problems with decision making in state property management still remain unaddressed. It speaks for necessity of fundamental reforms," he said.
