Bishkek to celebrate International Day of Yoga

Bishkek, June 21, 2019. /Kabar/. Bishkek citizens and guests of the capital will be able to get to the mass yoga flash mob as part of the celebration of International Day of Yoga.
Almost 400-500 participants will perform exercises under the guidance of experienced instructors from India. The sporting event will take place on June 23 at the Kurmanjan Datka monument.
The event is organized by the Embassy of India in Kyrgyzstan together with Bishkek Mayor’s Office.
International Day of Yoga, or commonly and unofficially referred to as Yoga Day, is celebrated annually on 21 June since its inception in 2015. An international day for yoga was declared unanimously by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).Yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual practice originated in India.
