Inflow of foreign investments to Kazakhstan grows by 15.8% in 2018

AKIPRESS.COM - The gross inflow of foreign investments to Kazakhstan increased by 15.8% amounting to $24.3 billion in 2018. A new system for attracting foreign investments has been created as part of implementation of economic diplomacy, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Ermek Kosherbayev told a press conference in the government.
According to him, the system is constantly being improved.
The main investors as a result of 2018 were the Netherlands - $7.3 billion (30.3%), the $U.S. - 5.3 billion (22%), Switzerland - $2.5 billion ( 10.5%), Russia - $1.5 billion (6.2%), China - $1.5 billion (6.1%), Belgium - $1.0 billion (4.3%), France - $0.9 billion (3.8%), Great Britain - $0.6 billion (2.4%) and Korea - $0.5 billion (2%).
