Committee on Industry and Entrepreneurship Development meeting to be held in June this year

Bishkek, June 21, 2019. /Kabar/. "The first meeting of the Committee on Industry and Entrepreneurship Development under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic will be held on June 24, 2019," Daniyar Imanaliyev, the Head of the Department of Strategic Development Policy, Economy and Finance of the President’s Office said.
The National Council on Sustainable Development adopted a decision to establish a Committee, the activities of which will be aimed at addressing the issues of industrial and business development in the country. The Committee is intended to become a dialogue platform between the state and the business community of Kyrgyzstan.
The main goal is active interaction of stakeholders on the issues of creating favorable conditions for business and improving the investment environment, industrial development.
"The issues of optimization of public administration will be considered taking into account the proposals for investment activities in industry, provision of state support or stimulation of the sector, improvement of interaction between the business community and public authorities," Imanaliyev added.
Consideration of the current state of the industry, in particular, the processing industry and light industry, existing problematic issues and prospects for development is planned at the first meeting of the Committee.
"We expect the questions that exist among entrepreneurs and industrial enterprises can be voiced at a high level, with the participation of decision-makers. Following the discussions, recommendations and appropriate measures will be taken to provide concrete support to entrepreneurs and businessmen," the head of the department concluded.
