State should make every effort to become business partner-Jeenbekov

Bishkek, June 24, 2019. /Kabar/. The state should make every effort to become a business partner, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov said during the first meeting of the Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the National Council on Sustainable Development.
At the same time, the President noted that business should become an equal participant of the country's development process.
"Without the development of industry it is impossible to develop the country. We need to create a platform to form a vision for the long-term development of industry and determine the way of its implementation. For solution of these problems, we have created a dialogue platform between business and the state ," he said.
The President of Kyrgyzstan also outlined the tasks of the Committee.
"First of all, this is the analysis of the effectiveness of incentives aimed at the development of the industrial sector of the country. The second is to make proposals for investment programs aimed at the industrial sector. The third is the development of ways to train modern specialists required in the industrial sector. Also, making proposals aimed at changing the policy of trade and public procurement," Jeenbekov listed.
Besides, the President said that there is need to accurately identify the barriers that prevent business, and to influence the elimination of these enterprises with the participation of public authorities.
"Monitoring and evaluation in priority areas of the economy is also of great importance. Based on the results of the evaluation, the Committee should present its proposals to all stakeholders. I think the Committee's activities will increase business confidence in the state and give a real impetus to development," he said.
